I draw on the latest research to assist you and your partner in developing positive relationship strategies. Learning to identify your triggers and practicing effective communication will help you understand one another, reduce conflict, reconnect, and rediscover joy in your relationship.

Premarital Counseling

This is a form of counseling in which I assist the couple prior to their marriage in tackling the main issues encountered in marriage and collaboratively working towards building a harmonious marital relationship.

Couples Therapy

This is a form of counseling that assists couples reach a high level of satisfaction in their relationships together. Please note couples therapy can also be provided to assist towards an amicable separation or divorce.

Parenting/Co-parenting Sessions

These are therapy sessions utilized to help parents who are separated, divorced, or living apart to co-parent a child or children in a healthy and effective manner. Parenting sessions are also ways that therapists use psychoeducation and developmental psychology to educate parents on their child’s developmental stages.

INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY

Individual Therapy

This is a form of counseling that occurs on a 1:1 basis with a client and therapist. The sessions are a form of therapy wherein a client works individually with a trained therapist in a caring, nurturing, and empathetic environment. Individual therapy is a process in which clients explore their feelings, innermost thoughts, behaviors, and work through challenges in their life.

Many people are not sure exactly what psychotherapy is and who can benefit from it. You may feel unsure about the need to see a therapist or have questions about the process. Therapy can be a great opportunity to explore long-standing problems and work through current life stressors in the safety of a caring, supportive, nonjudgmental environment. It can lead to gaining self-awareness and new perspectives.
